Introduction

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Gonzales Handyman Services' website and services. Please read these Terms carefully before using our services.

By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use our services.

Our Services

Gonzales Handyman Services provides handyman services, including interior and exterior renovations, general handyman work, and equipment rental. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of our services at any time.

Service Appointments and Scheduling

When booking a service appointment, you agree to provide accurate and complete information. We will make reasonable efforts to begin and complete services within the scheduled timeframe, but appointment times are approximate and not guaranteed.

Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance of the scheduled appointment time. Late cancellations or no-shows may result in a cancellation fee.

Equipment Rental

Equipment rentals are subject to availability and our rental agreement, which must be signed prior to taking possession of any equipment. You are responsible for the proper use, care, and return of all rented equipment.

A security deposit is required for all equipment rentals and will be refunded upon the satisfactory return of the equipment in the same condition it was rented, normal wear and tear excepted.

Late returns may incur additional fees based on our current rental rates. Damaged or lost equipment will result in forfeiture of the security deposit and may result in additional charges.

Payment Terms

Payment is due upon completion of services or at the time of equipment rental, unless otherwise specified in a written agreement. We accept various payment methods, including credit cards, cash, checks, and electronic payments.

For larger projects, a deposit may be required before work begins. All prices are subject to change without notice, but prices quoted in writing will be honored for 30 days from the date of the quote.

Warranties and Guarantees

We provide a 1-year warranty on our workmanship for handyman services. This warranty does not cover damage resulting from normal wear and tear, improper use, or abuse. Material warranties are limited to those provided by the manufacturer.

For equipment rentals, all equipment is provided "as is" with no warranties, express or implied, except that the equipment is in working condition at the time of rental.

Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Gonzales Handyman Services be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of or inability to access or use the services.

Our total liability for all claims related to the services shall not exceed the greater of $100 or the amount you paid for the services during the 12 months preceding the claim.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Gonzales Handyman Services and its officers, directors, employees, and agents, from and against any claims, disputes, demands, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including without limitation reasonable legal and accounting fees, arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the services or your violation of these Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Oregon, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under or related to these Terms shall be resolved exclusively in the courts located in Multnomah County, Oregon.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. If we make material changes to these Terms, we will provide notice through our services or by other means. Your continued use of the services after the changes have been posted will constitute your acceptance of the changes.
